Jolly good in Sheffield last night. Bloody enormous stage, I don't know if Pete could see Mark he was that far away! Guy worked the crowd in the usual festival fashion and got sing alongs for Grounds and One Day.
Set list as posted for Wembley. I, er, pretended that it was an Elbow gig so danced and sung as normal and got a few strange looks from the surrounding U2 fans. I even shouted "Mantra Luna" for Mirrorball and got "Oh God she's off" from my U2 fan friends that I'd gone with.

Unfortunately their overall reaction was lukewarm, so I don't think any new fans there.
We got there early enough to be inside the catwalk and actually I was in my usual position in front of Craig, but a few rows back. Complete fluke because my friends were choosing the spot. It also meant we were right in front of Edge when U2 came on. I have to say U2 were damn impressive, they certainly know how to put on a stadium show. I was slightly sceptical beforehand but had a whale of a time, even though the last U2 album I bought was Achtung Baby so I'm not really up to date with any of their stuff apart from the singles.
