Elbow covers Gabriel!?

Guy said in his actual finest hour that Elbow will cover a Peter Gabriel Track and Gabriel might cover an Elbow track!! Shocked

I really really hope that this comes true!! I always wanted more Elbow-meets-Gabriel!! Very Happy

If Peter is making a record of other people covering his music then he has to have Elbow on there...I loved their version of 'More than this' with Elbow playing and Peter singing.

The rumor is that PG will be covering Mirrorball. I haven't heard anything about what Elbow will cover.

Personally, I feel like PG could have selected a better song than Mirrorball. I would love to hear him cover something from the AITB era, maybe even Ribcage from CoT. And now that I think about it, I'd love to hear him cover Ribcage.

I can't say I'm extremely impressed by the tracklisting (not a huge fan of Bon Iver, Radiohead - sort of blasphemous to make this kind of remark anywhere, or Newman), but any new PG is good enough for me.

Yes, clumsily described by me. Remix by some of elbow with Peter's voice, not Guy's.
