I like the way you've put "newborn" instead of "newbie" - perhaps you could have "friend of ours" for posters with 5 stars and "coming second" for 4 stars? (can't think of any others)

heh...yeah, I changed all those ranks just now...I could tell you what they are, but then there's no surprise! However they are all based on elbow songs...and you got one right!

I'm wondering about the colours of the forum. Personally I prefer to read forums on a white background, but I made this one dark to try and compliment the elbow.co.uk site. Thoughts?

I have personally always made forums with a black background and yellow writing, but i don't think that would appeal to everyone. Whites good because its a very inoffensive colour and its easy to read black on, personally, i think this theme is ok.

Hi Trev Just a quick point, I had forgotten the url of this messageboard and a google search under "elbow messageboard" proved fruitless. The only way I could find the place was via a message left on the elbow myspace page (Which is how I found the place in the first place). How difficult is it to appear on a google search? Is it just a matter of putting some keywords somewhere on the site? (I have no idea how such things work!) or do you have to pay google? Not a criticism, but I wonder how many people search google for an elbow messageboard and nothing shows up?

You have to submit the site to google, which I did on the day I set it up, but it takes a while for it to be registered with them. I check every day to see if it's up yet, and I usually make that post on myspace twice a day. The searching on google for an elbow site being fruitless was the reason I set this up in the first place, as the powderblue forum doesn't come up either.

| Could we maybe have some kind of gallery section where people can post their favourite pictures of the band, concert photos and even artwork of theirs etc? Just a thought! _________________ i never know what i want but i know when i'm low that i i need to be in the town where they know what i'm like and don't mind...
