| This is basically a thread for every time you hear an Elbow song used on TV. Did this on a Coldplay forum years back and it proved popular. I know this won't happen often but it is so rare and exciting when an Elbow song comes on TV and I will kick off with one. On Saturday, the BBCs coverage of the FA cup final ended with 'One Day Like This.' It fitted perfectly and surprised me as well! _________________ i never know what i want but i know when i'm low that i i need to be in the town where they know what i'm like and don't mind...

| I heard Tower Crane Driver used as background on the BBC for something recently. Can't remember what. It was either an ad for an upcoming programme or used in a segment within a larger show. _________________ Are you falling in love every second song?

| Puncture Repair has been used a lot in Hollyoaks. Grounds for Divorce was used as the music for a My Name Is Earl promo recently, again on 4. I remember Any Day Now being on BYKER GROVE once!!! |

| By'kaah GROOOOOOVE?! Howay, Spuggie! I heard two tracks from LOTFW on an episode of crappy BBC school drama Waterloo Road a couple of years ago - Picky Bugger was definitely one, can't remember the other one but it might've been Great Expectations. |

| Lucky With Disease and Any Day Now were both used in Nip/Tuck. As mentioned they've been used a few times in Hollyoakes (powderblue springs to mind) Fugitive Motel was used by Auntie beeb to promote digital radio or 6 music a few years back. |

| Just heard a few bits of Powder Blue on a BBC1 programme - Meet the Immigrants. Bones of You was used on Street Doctor a few weeks ago and One Day Like This was on in the background on Corrie a couple of weeks ago. |

| I heard a portion of the beginning of 'Leaders of the Free World' during one of those VH1 specials here in the States. Couldn't tell you what one it was, but they're always playing random sections of songs during all of their programs. |

| ODLT was on Corry last night. It foreshadowed the events of that minx Liz and 'Flash' Harry... Corry always use music to empahasise the narrative: go Corry! _Joe |

| I was watchin 633 Squadron on ITV4 last night (for old times sake...honest. It's a favourite of mine from when I was a kid. Haven't seen it in years) Anyway, during the ad break at 11.45pm there was an advert for TSSK combined with an HMV tag on the end. Probably not the most expensive advertising slot in existence but it was there all the same. _________________ Are you falling in love every second song?

Yeah, I saw the same ad the other day on Channel 4 I think... can't remember what time but it wasn't as late as that. |
