Heys. I'm Molly (as is evident from the name!) and fair play to you guys for setting up this forum. I've been an Elbow fan for ages but just assumed there wasn't any forum as I couldn't find one on the official website. So this is great.

So yeah I'm 26, living in Belfast (but I'm from Tipperary in the south) and I frickin love Elbow. It's a toss up at the moment between Elbow, The Decemberists and Muse for my favourite band. One of the coolest moments of my life was when I ran into the guys at Electric Picnic last year. Nearly swallowed my tongue I was so awestruck. But they were so lovely and seemed so happy to listen to my ramblings.

So anyway hi everyone, looking forward to gushing about the guys with you lot.

EDIT: Hhmmm.....just realised I say 'so' a lot. I annoy myself. Lol!

I am also a HUGE fan of the Decemberists! (You might be able to tell by the Avatar!)

Hi Molly! Mrs MagicalTrevor - one of the Admins - is a huge fan of Muse too amongst others here, so don't think you'll run out of stuff to post about. Love your avatar, is she a character from something?

Its a character from a comic book called Scary Miss Mary. She has a clothing line and everything. I just came across it online once and because my name is Mary I thought she was cool.

Hi, my name is Tara O. I host a radio show (The Best in British Music Show) on the best indie and new music out of the UK and have an associated blog where I've got a bunch on interviews with some great bands, including Elbow! It's great to see the support this band gets from its fans here, they certainly deserve it.

Other favorite bands are muse,beirut,patrick watson,radiohead,dEUS and many more.

hullo to all, i'm a great big elbow fan from all the way in Ireland. Since I purchased asleep in the back nigh on 8 years ago I've been preaching the word of elbow to anyone who will listen. The most marvellous, uplifting band that can be listened to anywhere at anytime no matter what the mood is. I've love many bands, beatles, smiths, radiohead, manics, bowie, kinks.........and many a dj and other genre but elbow is the one group that have truly become my group. I'll ne'er have a bad word said about them!
