Just ordered tickets for Midlake at the Cluny Newcastle.

I'm not all that familiar with their work but what I've heard, I've enjoyed.

Anyone on here a fan?

I got their record "The Trials of Van Occupanther" and I really like it. A beautiful kinda oldfashioned cross between Crosby Stills, Fleetwood Mac and mellower Radiohead

I love them, one of my favourites. Trials is a beautifully crafted album, their story telling abilities are remarkable. Banman and Silvercock, is very different from it's successor, but it's a grows on you slowly.

I got tickets for London too, I cannot wait, it's been a couple of years since I last saw them last, i think it was Latitude Festival or the Bella Union gig at Festival Hall.
