Good to see another Augie March fan Smile

I've just got hold of a blast from the past, Come Out Fighting Genghis Smith by Roy Harper, and am wondering why it's been so long since I listened to this wonderful album.

I saw Nick Harper (his son) at Trowbridge Festival last year - what an incredible guitarist.

The Watch - Primitive
Progressive Rock very much like early Genesis and Marillion with Fish. Been at the concert of them yesterday and it is so amazing how close to young Gabriel the singer sounds!

The Duckworth Lewis Method. The side project by The Divine Comedy's Neil Hannon. It's all about the game of Cricket. A bit twee, but entertaining.

Agreed. Great pop record.

Kid British's 'It Was This Or Football (First Half)' for me. They always put on a great live show but the album leave something to be desired, I think. Maybe it'll grow.

Just downloaded the new one by The Fiery Furnaces (I'm Going Away). Only listened to it once all the way through but it sounded good - gonna give it a few more spins this week to see how it holds up!

Regina Spektor - Far

Blagged from my brother-in-law. Pretty good it is too.

Engineers - Three Fact Fader
Nice shoegaze music between Harmonia, Ride, Alan Parsons and a bit of Elbow
Their first record (self titled) was more romantic, the new one is more engergetic but still very relaxed, even when they kick the distortion pedal(s) Very Happy
