| Something a bit different to the games in the 'Neighbourhood, challenge your fellow boardies on their music knowledge with a bit of pop quizzing. Identify the artist from a line of lyrics, test them on trivia or if you really want to be flash, set up an intro audio clip for us to guess. It's all up to you! Whoever answers correctly asks the next question. Starting you off with an easy one, which song do these lyrics come from? "No fun, no sin, no you, no wonder it's dark" _________________ You patched me up and sent me on my way Moderator

| ok here goes, one for the 80's kids... Huey Lewis and the News, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Jennifer Rush all had 1985 hits with The Power of Love. What was unusual about this? _________________ The curtains are drawn...but the furniture is real!

| Nils Lofgren has played guitar with all three of them. btw Ticky was right with the power of love answer. I thought it was an unusual thing to have three different songs of the same name in the charts in one year, can't think of another occasion. _________________ The curtains are drawn...but the furniture is real!

| The Unforgettable Fire - U2 D'ya know what? That's amazing! I just heard 'A Sort of Homecoming' in the car and having bellowed along to every word of it, thought I'd log on and post it on the 'I forgot how good that song is' -thread! Then I saw this question... Spooooky! _________________ Mercifully free from the pressures of grace. |
