I got a wee shock this past weekend when I was suffering through the new Disney flick G-Force with my daughter...Loudon Wainwright was in it! Just a small role and he didn't get a ton of screen time, but still...very jarring to see someone as talented as him in a piss-poor film featuring CGI guinea pig secret agents. A definite "WTF" moment for me! |

Surprisingly so. Not too keen on some of her other stuff but this one is really growing on me. Enough quirky bits to make it different without being indulgent tosh. Influences from Kate Bush, Bjork and Tori Amos but different enough to make it her own stuff.
Currently listening to Coast by Blue Roses. _________________ Are you falling in love every second song?

| The album London Calling - The Clash. I don't listen to it all that often, but it is one of the greatest British rock albums ever IMO. "London Calling", "Spanish Bombs", "Lost in the Supermarket", "Clampdown", "The Guns of Brixton" (my fave I think) etc etc. Superb. |

Like a blast of this myself every now and then - usually followed by the Stranglers for some reason.
and completley at the opposite end of the music scale - David Guetta featuring Kelly Rowland is playing from the other room. |
